In this role, you will function as a Project Support specialist, encompassing various aspects of project management, contract management, procurement, quality assurance, and financial oversight. You will design, develop, and manage customer projects in alignment with defined standards, internal and external regulations, and customer requirements. Ideal candidates will have experience across multiple project phases, from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, effective team management, and strong customer relationships.

How You’ll Make an Impact  

In this position, you will be responsible for a range of duties related to project management, contract management, procurement, quality assurance, and financial oversight, including:

• Collaborating with customers to identify solutions alongside the Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, or project team leads.
• Clarifying customer targets and requirements, including specifications in requests for proposals (RFPs) within contractual boundaries.
• Preparing for participation in tenders and project change orders, leading negotiations with customers as needed.
• Coordinating overall project planning and maintaining continuous communication with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitoring project milestones and budget adherence, initiating actions to minimize non-conformance costs.
• Ensuring compliance with PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g., tax regulations, export control, EHS, quality).
• Serving as the project interface for procurement and supporting project management layers, including the project manager, commercial manager, quality manager, contracts manager, and procurement manager.
• Engaging in Quality Management in Projects (QMiP) to oversee the transition from project handover to completion, proactively managing quality control milestones and addressing weaknesses early to mitigate non-conformances.
• Sharing and applying lessons learned to enhance project execution.
• Achieving all relevant project objectives while adhering to Siemens Energy corporate guidelines and meeting planned deadlines.
• Utilizing strategies to minimize costs and optimize profit margins, while actively managing claims and ensuring compliance with contractual conditions.
• Fostering strong partnerships with internal and external project stakeholders and preparing comprehensive project reports.

What You Bring 

• A tertiary qualification in Project Management, Cost Control, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with knowledge of technical project aspects.
• 5-10 years of experience in managing large projects, typically valued at over 20-30 million Euros.
• Prior experience in control and instrumentation projects, preferably within the power plant industry.
• Strong contractual experience, ideally with NEC and FIDIC project types.
• Willingness and ability to be site-based for extended periods.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services team offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
