A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Distributed Complex Projects, Project Manager (PM), you are responsible for driving completion of customer projects, or defined tasks/scope within the projects, according to the defined Project Excellence Guide standards, customer requirements, and the applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines.
Project scopes are primarily focused on Gas Services gas turbine products including Modernizations and Upgrades, Major Forced Outage events, RCA and support of Major outages (primarily with multiple products such as Compressors, Generators or Steam Turbines).
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Executing the project within the defined requirements in line with the project objectives (with regards to safety, cost, time, quality and functionality).
- Ensuring project controls are established throughout the project in line with ‘Project Excellence at Siemens Energy’ (PE@SE) & the Business Management System.
- Ensuring compliance with all Regulations, Legislation, and Corporate Governance requirements.
- Delivering both business success and customer satisfaction in accordance with the project contracts. Leading the project team in an outstanding and inspirational manner.
- Providing professional partner management throughout the project lifecycle. Ensuring timely decisions; raising issues where necessary.
- Managing risk and opportunity and providing robust contract execution and administration in a professional and compliant manner.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in project management. 5+ years’ experience of developing and delivering projects with emphasis on integrated solutions in the energy industry.
- Strong Project Management or engineering background (cost-quality-time controlling, Risk Management, Scheduling, Stakeholder Management, Leadership, Team building, Change-Management and Claims Management etc.) with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- PM Accreditation at the respective level is preferred; or committed to create a development plan leading to such (within a year) is required.
- Proficient knowledge and practical application of project management methodologies and tools; knowledge of Commercial / Contractual management!
- Demonstrated experience and a deep knowledge of Risk / Opportunity Management, effective leadership, and conflict-management. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, among internal teams as well as with customers!
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation and oil & gas applications through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
