A Snap Shot of your Day
The Project Lead Engineer (PLE) is responsible for handling the technical deliverables for on time delivery and will also be responsible for monitoring and controlling project budgets and schedules.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Establish appropriate flow-down of customer requirements to the project team
- Perform system to system integration for mechanical, and electrical interfaces
- Develop detailed schedule, budgets and statements of work
- Coordinate the preparation of system documents such as description notes, analysis reports, certification reports, I&C documentation and guides.
- Ability to identify, communicate and escalate project issues clearly and effectively to the project team and management
- Participate in system and components development process by identifying potential weak points, and develops solutions based on engineering judgment, inputs from Siemens experts, customer, suppliers and other systems partners
- Ensure information flow between engineering and supply chain, program management, test and other Siemens operations and ensure it is effectively managed and coordinated
- Implement effective risk management and apply health, safety and environmental policies including a dedication to continuous improvement
- Utilize Siemens tools effectively to manage and communicate project health
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of professional experience designing mechanical systems
- Preferred experience in the oil & gas industry
- Must be available to travel 10% (domestic and international)
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
