A Snapshot of Your Day

The Production Controller will be based onshore in our customer’s Operations and Maintenance facility in Norfolk, Virginia working to support the Offshore Operations of the Coastal Virginia Commercial Project (176 x SG14-222 Direct Drive turbines).

Production Controllers work a shift pattern (e.g., 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off) providing 24/7/365 coverage to meet the demanding scheduled and often unscheduled site requirements. The role reports into the Deputy Operations Manager on the site.

The Production Controller monitors and drives technical performance of the Wind Farm, controls access to the Wind Turbine Generators (“WTG”), supports our Global Monitoring team in reactive responses to WTG alarms, and provides remote support to the Offshore workforce working within the windfarm.

Once the project is fully ramped up the Production Controller role may be assigned shift delegations onboard our Service Offshore Vessel, living and working offshore with our field team.
