A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our innovative team at Siemens Energy, where you will play a crucial role in developing and continuously improving our post-firing core processes, with a primary focus on core finishing. You will troubleshoot process issues and provide technical support to our manufacturing teams, ensuring the on-time delivery of conforming core products to downstream processes. Imagine collaborating with a dedicated core technical team and engaging with the casting technical team to drive excellence in our operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Utilize your process knowledge and engineering principles to develop techniques that produce cores meeting customer specifications.
  • Review customer requirements and create processes and documentation to achieve them effectively.
  • Develop tooling and techniques aimed at improving yield in key areas.
  • Collaborate with various teams to execute improvements in efficiency, safety, and yield.
  • Work alongside the training team to create efficient and effective training content for team members.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
  • Proven experience in developing and documenting processes, along with writing work instructions and providing training.
  • Familiarity with lean principles is essential.
  • Experience with NDT techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A BS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
  • This position may require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Candidates with more experience may be considered for a higher level, and vice versa.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
