A Snapshot of Your Day

A day in the life of a Power System Sales Account Manager involves leveraging your unique skills to listen to clients, extrapolate relevant data, and generate winning strategies. This role requires a highly motivated self-starter to drive the winning strategy internally across multiple product lines, supporting proposal responses and contract negotiations. This position will travel to customer sites domestically as well as internationally including manufacturing locations in Europe and Latin America! Every day the Account Manager will ensure seamless coordination and execution of plans while fostering strong relationships and driving success not only for Siemens Energy, but more importantly for your customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide product and solutions sales coverage within the Gulf Coast Region.
  • Develop and implement Siemens Energy strategic efforts with Regional Customers. Accounts could be located in AR, LA, MS, or TX.
  • Responsible for account management to develop and maintain strategic account plans.
  • Organize product overview meetings and customer engagements.
  • Work closely with internal Siemens Energy divisions on commercial and technical customer dispute resolution.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business-related field preferred. 5+ years of industry-related experience with fossil power generation and/or marketing/sales experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and multi-tasking skills with an ability to listen to clients, calculate and read relevant data, and drive winning strategies.
  • Effectively communicate and lead this defined strategy internally with multiple product lines in support of proposal responses and contract discussions.
  • Able to travel 40-50% domestically to customers; international travel to manufacturing sites in Europe and Latin America.
  • Flexibility in schedule needed to attend evenings and/or weekend customer events.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
