A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Mechanical Fitter at Siemens Energy, you'll play a crucial role in assembling Packages, building small gas turbine components (inc’l Fluid Systems, Gas Generator & Power Turbine, Gear Boxes, Electric Generator and Control Panels) onto the package. Your day will involve hands-on mechanical work, using tools and equipment to ensure that every part meets our exacting standards. Working alongside a dedicated team, you’ll contribute to projects that power communities and industries worldwide.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Precision and Excellence: Use a variety of tools to carry out a range of fitting operations within the Package Manufacturing area
- Collaborative Environment: Foster open communication with supporting departments, creating a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

- Quality and Safety: Uphold a strong commitment to quality and safety, ensuring compliance with legal and company regulations.
What you Bring
- Expertise: Experience in a relevant mechanical industry, preferably exposed to mechanical fitting related to rotating equipment
- Qualifications: Preferably completed a recognized full level 3 apprenticeship, Candidates will also be considered that have an NVQ level 3 or technical certificate in a relevant engineering field.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail ensures every component is crafted with precision in line with company standards.
- Dedication to Safety: Strong safety and quality driven mindset and collaborative teamwork approach.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
