A Snapshot of Your Day

The position is to provide maintenance to gas turbines, generators, compressors and auxiliary systems on the field. The daily activities include Mechanical hands-on works, leading and directing subcontractors to do the necessary tasks to serve the equipment, while assuring quality and technical procedures are followed. You will coordinate and lead the timing of material received on site. You will handle status and lessons-learned to the back-office engineering and management on a consistent basis.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Perform hands-on work on rotating machine core engine assembly/disassembly and auxiliary maintenance work
  • Assist in handling spare parts, service tools, installation tools, consumables, and documentation in the project scope
  • Lead and coordinate erection and assembly activities in accordance with time schedule and cost estimate.
  • Active participation in outage planning meetings with internal and external collaborators.
  • Prepare and issue detailed reports regarding scope executed, the condition, repairs performed and recommendations for customer equipment.
  • Responsibility to make sure and/or implement the protocols, policies, guidelines, and proficiencies of the current integral management system (EHS, Quality).
  • Review and execute customer contract requirements.
  • Provide combustion turbine and steam turbine knowledge and expertise to division management, customer management, product line management and suppliers.

What You Bring

  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar; or equivalent experience in a technical field.
  • Professional Experience (3+ years) as a Mechanical Field Service Representative, preferably in gas turbine maintenance or related engineering field.
  • Previous experience required in a hands-on role in the power generation, oil and gas or rotating equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to handle pressure and have a service mind
  • Technical Knowledge on combustion turbine, steam turbines, electrical generators and associated auxiliary systems.
  • Required proficient English writing/speaking for communication.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of time (sometimes required to travel on short notice) and work atypical shift regimes.
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and following technical drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and written work instructions/procedures is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software particularly Excel, Word and Project
