A Snapshot of Your Day
The International Order Specialist will support the International Order Management team with quoting, exception processing, and GR/IR reconciliation for spare parts from Germany to all Service organizations in North and Latin America, as well replenishment for our U.S. inventory/warehouse.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Independently performs areas of work to support International Order Mangers to supply spare parts from Germany.
- Maintains a positive relationship with US order Managers, US Supply Management team in ACH, warehouse and logistic in Germany. Manages quotes, EDI invoice, P2P queue to facilitate the cross-country business.
- Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to multi-functional problems.
- Provides support and coordinating activities related to quotations, ordering, logistics, production/manufacturing related to products/spare parts, and solutions processed via SAP (KSP and PD2).
- The international order coordinator focuses on facilitating cross country orders to support all customer in North and Latin America. Order Coordinator will primarily work with Components/Spare Parts for Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, and Generators.
- Maintain strong collaboration with Sources in Germany and internal Customers in the U.S.!
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field (or must be in the process of obtaining Bachelor's) or combined equivalent of education and work experience. 1-2 years of experience in international Sales/Marketing, Order Management, Supply Management, Logistics, Project Management, or other technical fields.
- Solid understanding of SAP (PD2 or KSP or OPP) desired and knowledge of business, financial, and operational processes.
- Familiarity with international transactions e.g., import, shipping logistics is highly desirable.
- Advanced English (spoken and written)

International Order Management (IOM) Team Oversees a diverse portfolio of responsibilities that span multiple key facilities across Germany. The IOM team focuses on facilitating cross-country orders to support all customers in North and Latin America. Our operations encompass the Steam Factory in Mulheim, the Generator Factory in both Mulheim and Erfurt, and the Gas Turbine Factory in Berlin. Additionally, we manage Orders to our Service Warehouse ELoC and external vendors for core Steam Turbine, Generator, and Gas Turbine components through our Supply Management teams.
