A Snapshot of Your Day
We have an exciting leadership role, The Head of Grid Technologies Service (APAC) , responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of Grid Technology Services in the Pacific Sub-Hub 2 (Taiwan / Vietnam / Philippines / South Korea / Japan) as well as the direct Country Service lead for the local legal entity.
This role will also focus on developing and supporting strategic and growth plans aligned to business objectives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Actively participate in the GT SV Asia Pacific management team to drive strategy and operational business within the sub-hub.
- Lead and develop the local team, ensuring sustainable business operations across various functions including Bid, Field Service, Project Management, and Technical Specialist roles.
- Collaborate with GT Sales, Factories, and other Siemens Energy Business Areas to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Boost customer satisfaction by establishing trust, nurturing professional relationships, and addressing issues for local customers and key industry collaborators.
- Develop and complete sales opportunities in collaboration with GT Sales, ensuring successful project implementations.
- Establish regional transparency by setting clear priorities for short and long-term growth and sustainability, bringing to bear local market insights.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of proven leadership experience in managing teams, projects, and budgets.
- 10+ years of experience in the energy sector, with a specific focus on grid technologies and services within North East Asia.
- Beneficial experience in an engineering role or as a site/field service technical expert.
- Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- A positive attitude, able to thrive in challenging environments.
- Strong cultural awareness and the ability to build effective relationships across a diverse group of backgrounds.
- Proficiency in IT tools including Microsoft Suite, SAP, and Salesforce.
- Professional English proficiency; additional Asian languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Asia and occasionally to Europe/internationally.
