A Snapshot of Your Day
Imagine stepping into the heart of innovation with our HVDC Systems Team, where you test and verify cutting-edge hardware and software for HVDC Projects at our Test Center. Your day is filled with collaboration, working alongside diverse and multinational teams, project management, engineering, and end customers. Together, you ensure the seamless functionality and quality of HVDC Plants worldwide during commissioning, all while leveraging the latest advancements in HVDC technology to provide customized solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will execute and document Functional Performance Tests (FPT) and Dynamic Performance Tests (DPT) of our C&P Hardware and Software, including Customer Acceptance Tests at our Test Center in Germany.
- You will plan, execute, and evaluate workshop tests for C&P Hardware at our sub-suppliers’ factory, ensuring acceptance.
- You will prepare and execute testing procedures for the System Open Loop Control.
- You will ensure technically flawless commissioning of HVDC systems on-site, including testing of associated HV primary components and secondary systems.
- You will support Commissioning Management in Quality, Risk, and Claim Management, and participate in improvement programs like Lean, Reviews, and Lessons Learned.
What You Bring
- Degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or equivalent qualification; Technician certification accepted.
- Proficient in grid protection systems, protection relays & BCUs, and testing via MATLAB/SIMULINK, Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7, CFC.
- Experience or knowledge in Electrical Engineering and commissioning of power stations or HVDC systems.
- Understanding of current and voltage measuring devices and other primary equipment.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Willingness for global travel and long-term assignments, including offshore platforms; strong team player with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
