A Snapshot of Your Day

The High Voltage Circuit Breaker Field Engineer position involves traveling to different locations across the country to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and modify High Voltage Breakers in electrical substations. The circuit breakers you will be working with have ratings ranging from 72.5kV to 550kV. Travel will be conducted via airplane or car, and this role is fully remote, allowing you to work from home. A company credit card and computer will be provided for your use. You will be utilizing hand tools, voltage multimeters, and various types of testing equipment in your work.

What You Bring

• (Associative degree, electrical engineering technology or mechanical engineering
• Min 2 years circuit breaker experience or working in an electrical substation
• Knowledgeable with Word, Excel, Power point generating reports.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
