Imagine being a trusted HR partner at the heart of a transformer manufacturing site, where people and performance go hand in hand. As an HRBP in Wuhan, you work closely with factory management and employees to translate business priorities into practical HR solutions. Your day blends strategic workforce planning with hands‑on people support, ensuring a positive employee experience and stable operations. By fostering strong labor relations and ensuring compliance with local labor regulations, you help create a safe, engaged, and high‑performing factory environment that supports long‑term business success.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Drive the local implementation of HR programs, including recruiting, people development, compensation & benefits, organizational development, and change management within the transformer factory.
- Partner with factory management to review short‑ and long‑term business needs, supporting workforce planning and talent development initiatives.
- Develop and implement succession plans to strengthen the local talent pipeline and operational continuity.
- Coach line managers on day‑to‑day performance management, employee development, and people‑related challenges.
- Work closely with managers and employees to improve labor relations, enhance engagement, and support employee retention.
- Advise management on general HR topics to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with PRC labor laws, local regulations, and internal policies.
What You Bring
- University degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 10 years of Human Resources experience.
- Solid HR generalist background with strong expertise in at least two areas such as recruitment, learning & development, compensation & benefits, or change management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and cultures.
- High level of independence and resilience, with the ability to work under pressure in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- A practical, service‑oriented mindset combined with strong problem‑solving and project management capabilities.
- Proven experience managing employment relationships with blue‑collar and rotational workers in a factory or industrial setting.
About the Team
You will be part of the local HR team supporting the Wuhan transformer factory, working closely with site leadership and employees. The team focuses on enabling stable operations through effective workforce management, employee engagement, and compliance. Collaboration with regional HR functions ensures alignment with Siemens Energy standards while addressing local business and labor needs. Your role plays a key part in connecting people strategy with factory performance.
