A Snapshot of Your Day
Responsible for project management and for developing, prioritizing and submitting project plans, budgets and methodologies for a range of key projects. Assign project resources, performance reviews and post-implementation evaluations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Be a Safety Champion driving zero harm culture, set the example. Act as the customer’s single point of contact for management of the Service Program Contract, along with advising the customer on technical solutions affecting operation and maintenance of units.
- Monitor and Drive Improvement of Key Performance Indicators (Unit Availability & Reliability, Project Revenue & Margin, Customer Satisfaction)
- Collaborate with the Platform Team (District Service Office (DSO) and District Sales Manager) and other internal organizations (engineering, Hub Sales, etc.) along with the customer to plan, schedule, and implement outages.
- Collaborate with internal partners and the customer to plan, prioritize and sell upgrades including extra work, along with pulling in scope outside of the Contract (i.e. Steam Turbine, Generator and Digital scopes).
- Ensure quality non-conformances are entered for quality events, while driving corrective actions.
- Manage contract financials and present financial status to management on a quarterly basis. Build, grow and maintain strong Customer and internal partnerships by living the highest standards of our SOCIUS principles of Accountability, Optimism, Communication, Trust and Flexibility.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of high school diploma/GED and equivalent direct experience.
- Dedicated, self-starting, creative individual with a working knowledge of power plants, project engineering skills, & good commercial sense.
- Combined project management and field service experience in Power Generation is required for the level of combined project management and field service experience in Power Generation is required for the level 6. Must be able to deliver complex and high value projects to multiple customers. Experience in customer facing roles and ability to communicate clearly to senior management is a must.
- Familiarity with rotating power generation equipment (501F/G/H and/or 400F / 2000E combustion turbine preferred).
- Selected candidate will be required to obtain IMPA certification within 18 months
- Working fluency in English and Portuguese (both verbal and written)
About the Team
You will join a team of professionals from different nationalities and based in different countries that project manage Long Term Service Agreements of gas turbines (central and distributed) in the regions of South America (Argentina, Chile & Uruguay) and Brazil.
The team is part of the Service Latin America Project Management organization, where similar teams exist to serve the other regions of Andina (Perú & Colombia) and Mesoamerica (México & Caribe).
This organization counts with many years of experience in Project Management, and pursues its goals with an emphasis on Safety, Quality and Customer Satisfaction, all through adherence to proven procedures and to the SOCIUS Principles (Accountability, Optimism, Communication, Trust and Flexibility).
