A Snapshot of Your Day
We are seeking a Financial Systems & Data Strategy Analyst to join our team. You will focus on optimising processes and key data touchpoints across the financial systems landscape, collaborating closely with finance stakeholders and managing a portfolio of technological solutions.
How Youll Make an Impact
- Partner with finance and IT to improve processes and support strategic financial initiatives using applications, data models, and reporting tools.
- Lead end-to-end delivery across the solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and transition to service.
- Capture business needs, translate complex financial topics into technical requirements, and encourage process change.
- Drive finance digitalisation initiatives, developing proof of concept applications and creating blueprints for larger projects.
- Collaborate with finance teams to provide technical guidance, ensuring compliance and identifying data needs.
- Design and maintain data pipelines, models, and architectures to support finance initiatives and optimise tool performance.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy, implement validation processes, and coordinate reconciliation and user acceptance.
- Promote self-service solutions and automation while collaborating with executives to drive finance process digitisation.
What You Bring
- 6+ years’ experience in finance/accounting and software development/data analytics within an international organisation.
- Expertise in corporate financial ERP solutions (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and large-scale financial transformation projects.
- Experience in developing and deploying applications using Agile/Scrum methodology, data modelling, and ETL development.
- Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing tools (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake), and cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Qualified by a CCAB accounting body (CIMA, ICAEW, ACCA) or equivalent.
