A Snapshot of Your Day
In this position, you'll be working with our sales department as a financial sales manager. You'll analyze inquiries and help submit offers for clients regarding commercial terms. You'll also accompany your technical colleagues during negotiations with our clients, contributing to successfully closing deals. This role will also include tasks related to digitizing some of the finance department's work. Additionally, you'll serve as the main contact and coordinator for our fast-growing digital grid solutions business.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Assisting in the internal approval and acceptance process (LoA-/Bid release). Negotiating with external and internal clients and supporting our technical account managers in acquiring new clients
- Evaluate the commercial aspects of budgetary and firm offers while analyzing tender requirements. Collaborate closely with the Technical Sales and Bid Management Team to meet client and tender requirements.
- Analyze offers and contracts for compliance with Polish tax and accounting law and engage in the bidding process under Polish Public Procurement Law and negotiate customer terms and conditions.
- Curiosity and seeking for digital improvements in the daily work of the finance department.
- Regional support for the DG department in Central and Eastern Europe.
- Coordinate all commercial activities within the sales and proposal process with various teams and ensure timely preparation of bids and manage relationships with stakeholders to secure order intake and revenue recognition.
What You Bring
- BA/BS or Master’s degree in business, accounting, or finance and relevant experience in commercial sales and project handling, along with knowledge of contractual law and customer negotiations.
- Highly developed analytical skills, strong commercial attitude, and critical thinking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex information clearly and concisely.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, knowledge of SAP is beneficial.
- Competence in working collaboratively within project teams, demonstrating flexibility in an international environment. Interest in digitalization topics and further developing one's own processes and ways of working
- Solid understanding of local tax, accounting, and commercial law, including Polish public procurement law and the Polish energy market.
- Fluency in English is essential. Ability to thrive in complex and changing environments while effectively managing multiple priorities.
