To drive the implementation of this technology into the Siemens Gas Turbine fleet and to develop a new business field, Generation has established a dedicated AM organization. Materials Solutions Ltd. – A Siemens Energy Business is an integral part of this organization, offering more than proven experience in Metal Additive Manufacturing. As the manufacturing backbone of our AM manufacturing network, Materials Solutions is serving a worldwide customer base in e.g. aerospace, automotive/motorsports and tooling industry, as well as supplying GS’s core products with AM components. Materials Solutions is based in Worcester, UK.

The FC for Materials Solutions Ltd. will take the lead for the Statutory accounts process, stock management and costing

Supporting the Head of Finance this role will ensure that MSL achieves all of its statutory requirements in respect to reporting and helping to create greater clarity around the cost of components sold.

What You Bring

• Manufacturing and financial reporting experience in a multinational organization
• Knowledge of IAS, UK GAAP and Siemens reporting systems/environment
• BA/BS/master’s degree in accounting/Finance. ACCA, CIMA or equivalent profession accreditation desirable
• Extensive knowledge of product costing techniques and manufacturing controlling
• ERP and Finance systems knowledge, preferably Sage Package
• PC Literate – specifically advanced level in Excel and Power Point
• Hands on attitude necessary given the start-up like environment.
• Proactive, dynamic, decisive & results oriented.
• Great teammate with strong interpersonal skills.

Your responsibilities

• Support in the preparation of all financial statements, reports, and analysis for a legal entity and supervises all business administration processes.
• Lead in the development of accurate product costing and variance reporting
• Assist in developing operational performance metrics to monitor and guide business activities.
• Review all corporate & statutory financial statements, reports and analysis for the entity. Collaborate with external and internal auditors, providing all necessary information and process support.
• Participate in the annual business and financial planning and monthly forecasting processes.
• Participate in the implementation of efficient monthly reporting processes based on Siemens Energy guidelines.
• Support and maintain effective internal control procedures and systems, including compliance monitoring in accordance with corporate policies and GAAP.
