Your day will involve recruiting and mentoring engineers, planning and allocating resources for projects, and driving team development to meet Siemens Energy standards. You'll oversee daily operations, monitor team performance, and ensure compliance while fostering collaboration and innovation. Additionally, you'll engage in quality initiatives, support technical sales, and manage diverse generator projects across the region and globally.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Actively recruit and mentor engineers in Iraq, providing training and development to meet Siemens Energy standards.
• Plan and allocate the Field Service Team (FST) for regional and global projects, ensuring efficient resource utilization within budget.
• Drive collaboration within regional and global FST teams, enhance training opportunities, and support digitization efforts for sustainable service operations.
• Oversee daily team operations, including timesheets, expense claims, delegation compliance, and performance monitoring.
• Conduct site visits to review project progress, support technical sales, implement quality initiatives, and address first-time process evolutions.
• Develop training programs, publish technical procedures, and manage multiple generator projects while coordinating with internal teams and ensuring quality compliance.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering with 5–10 years of on-site experience in power generation or Oil & Gas industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of equipment wear, fatigue mechanisms, and mechanical maintenance activities, with the ability to work under pressure and challenging conditions.
• Proficient in IT applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) and digitally literate, with additional IT skills being a plus.
• Familiarity with industry standards for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental protection, and fluency in English (other languages are a plus).
• Analytical and innovative thinker with strong teamwork, resilience, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities in complex, international environments.
• Willing and legally able to travel extensively and independently across Siemens Energy locations in the Middle East region.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
