A Snapshot of Your Day 

As an Expert (f/m/d) Battery Management System (BMS) for large storage systems every day is not the same in your multicultural team. You will be responsible with your colleagues for the development of the best-fit-solutions in Energy Storage for our global customers and make a significant contribution to the energy transition. With our Siemens Energy-wide collaboration, we combine various sustainable solutions to increase our customer happiness. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Responsibility for R&D tasks and sub-streams for Battery system development and power systems 
  • Design of Software Architecture for embedded system for Battery Management system for large storage systems 
  • Coordination of embedded software development 
  • Coordination of prototype to Serie production Component 
  • Support for R&D, production and maintenance in BMS related requests    
  • Contributing to the improvement of current and development of next-generation Siemens Energy battery storage systems 
  • Preparation of the documentation for certification, working closely with System Engineers and Project managers 
What You Bring
  • Master´s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, but other fields will be considered. 
  • Long-term experience with large storage system and experience in the industrialization of electronic good and/or software following necessary standards  
  • Hands on experience with embedded electronics development, including BMS
  • Exposure and practical knowledge on Embedded Linux Controllers are a plus  
  • Motivation to work in a growing dynamic team, being proactive to develop new processes and to adapt into new technologies  
  • Familiarity with applicable codes, standards and regulations used in EMEA Region 
  • Fluent in English (mandatory), German skills are a plus  
  • Good communication and presentation skills and a self-organized way of working in an intercultural environment and motivation to work with multicultural teams
