A Snapshot of Your Day 

In this role, you drive our future readiness, supporting new business models like cybersecurity and improve processes and tools for complex service opportunities worldwide. One day, you might negotiate with clients and subcontractors in the morning, followed by discussions on operational improvements internally. In the afternoon, you will analyze important metrics related to our commercial performance, assess cases, and collaborate with our R&D team.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Design standard use cases for international business models, taking into account the requirements of NCM and LOA guidelines while acting as coach and knowledge carrier, especially towards the service regions worldwide
  • Development of the organization, process, and tool landscape to enable the growth of the GT Service
  • Analyze new portfolio elements such as cyber security in terms of profitability and R&D investments, develop the cases, and supervise and report R&D expenses
  • Support the competence and resource building in best cost countries and develop the required concepts and processes
  • Take over the Finance Project Lead for selected offers and, together with the technical bid manager, develop offer strategy and creation until the corresponding customer contracts are concluded, including responsibility for contractual clarifications, commercial issues, reviewing the customer requirements and working out the required bid deliverables
  • For won contracts, take ownership for commercial processing, order entry, budgeting, forecasts and invoicing, achieving targets (revenue, results, functional costs, etc.). You actively operate risk and claim management and steer periodic closing activities
What You Bring
  • University degree in business administration or equivalent experience such as commercial eduction combined with long-term professional experience
  • Long-term proven professional experience in commercial bid and commercial project management for large-scale projects preferably in a service environment as well as experience with process design and business planning
  • Knowledge in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Power Point)
  • Excellent communication skills and full business proficiency in English and German, ideally with intercultural experience
  • A proven track record of dedication and flexibility, consistently achieving desired outcomes
  • Experience in negotiating for projects in direct customer contact and steering internal and external partners
