A Snapshot of Your Day
As an EHS Assistant Manager, you’ll support Siemens Energy Korea’s Service organization by planning and implementing safety measures across office and site operations. Your day will involve preparing risk assessments, coordinating with global EHS teams, and ensuring compliance with Korean regulations while promoting our Zero Harm principles.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support EHS planning activities for service projects and outages.
- Prepare EHS packages including Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis to meet SAPA and national regulations.
- Maintain and develop local EHS management system procedures.
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Drive reporting and closure of EHS issues, near misses, and lessons learned.
- Occasionally support site EHS activities during peak periods (up to 10% travel).
- This position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance.
What You Bring
- Graduate degree in Occupational Safety and Korean Industrial Safety Engineer certification (mandatory).
- 1–2 years of professional experience preferred; new graduates considered.
- Fluency in Korean and English with strong intercultural communication skills.
- Legally permitted to work in South Korea; valid driver’s license preferred.
- Passion for safety and commitment to Siemens Energy’s Zero Harm principles.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
