A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as a Digitalization, Controls & Automation Regional Sales Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our compression service program in the region. Imagine identifying and capturing exciting opportunities in compressor Digitalization, Controls & Automation while collaborating closely with our Global team and factory locations.
You will build strong partnerships with key customers, ensuring that we meet and exceed our growth targets. Your contributions will be essential in shaping the future of our services and enhancing customer satisfaction.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and grow a qualified sales funnel to meet compression service sales targets in the region through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the preparation of formal bids and integrated proposals, supporting contract negotiations with customers alongside the regional commercial, legal, and finance teams, as well as the Global D,C&A team.
- Support harmonization and localized content integration activities across multiple product lines, including gas and steam turbines, when implementing the One Train Approach.
- Conduct regional cost modeling (e.g., Field Service, Project Management, locally procured parts, and regionally managed overhauls) and lead the preparation of the approval process (LoA) for management presentation.
- Develop a joint strategy with the Global CP D, C&A team to enhance our service offerings.
What You Bring
- A college degree in electrical, control, or mechanical engineering, or a business discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in developing and driving sales projects to closure, including direct customer interactions.
- Strong understanding of relevant market and business knowledge, with competencies in market analysis, competition analysis, risk analysis, and life cycle cost analysis.
- In-depth product knowledge of compressor controls.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills for engaging both internal and external customers.
