A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Automation Developer Intern to join our Digital Business Process Transformation team. As an Automation Developer Intern, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions and automation scripts using various tools available in our system landscape. Your work will play a pivotal role in enhancing business operations by improving efficiency, reducing cycle times, and achieving cost savings.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Design and develop RPA solutions to automate repetitive business processes, increasing operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal business leads to create automation documentation and translation of business process to automation processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize processes suitable for automation.
  • Design and implement user-friendly interfaces for automation processes to facilitate easy consumption by business users.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand user requirements and incorporate feedback into Ul designs.

What You Bring

  • Current student (junior or senior preferred) actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or related degree.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.2 GPA and have relevant prior work experience.
  • Seeking a proactive, driven, and self-motivated individual who is willing to work in the digital business processes area within the energy industry on internal projects.
  • Experience in designing intuitive and user-friendly Uls for automation processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience in platforms such as Visio, Draw.io, Mendix, UiPath, Alteryx, Microsoft Power Platform management of large power generation equipment for Siemens Energy.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
