A Snapshot of Your Day
Daily activities revolve around the successful planning and shipment of complex project related parts both domestically and internationally. Attend planning meetings with project managers and customer service professionals to understand all project requirements including INCO terms, critical dates and other contract terms and conditions. Support the complex projects Project Managers with other logistics tasks as needed.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Identify project specific documentation requirements for US imports prior to shipment (e.g. mill certificates, Free Trade Agreement certificates or duty exemption program documents & review import documents to ensure compliant, etc.).
- Develop logistics/transportation plans in advance of shipping activities for large Complex Projects.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the import/export process, customs delays or documentation discrepancies. Implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences of similar issues.
- Apply knowledge of transportation logistics, warehouse consolidation, packaging and freight forwarders / transporters to manage domestic and international shipments.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly.
- Stay updated on changes in trade compliance regulations and implement necessary changes in internal processes.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in business management, engineering or related field or equivalent experience (work/education).
- 8+ years of logistics (imports and exports) experience in power generation services.
- Must be detail oriented with strong communication!
- Knowledge of business, financial, and operational processes within the GS organization.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
