How You'll Make an Impact: 

  • In this pivotal role, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver technical proposals for the Fossil Valve Product Line, ensuring quick and accurate responses to electric utilities for fossil power plants.
  • Your expertise will drive the successful execution of complex projects involving SE inventory used for exchanges or service repairs on customer-owned hardware.
  • By managing our factory network and coordinating with various groups within Siemens Energy, you will support the customer, product line, and technical input.
  • Additionally, you will have the opportunity to provide valuable support to team members working on Turning Gears, Blading, Rotors, and Stationary hardware for both Fossil and Nuclear power plants. Your efforts will directly contribute to the reliability and efficiency of power generation facilities across North America.

What You'll Bring:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SAP and a strong understanding of customer needs, both internal and external.
  • Parts and Inventory Management: Experience in identifying parts and managing inventory effectively.
  • Commercial Acumen: Knowledge of Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP) and the ability to leverage Platform Teams to address and resolve customer needs.
  • Customer-Focused Leadership: Direct experience with electric utilities, demonstrating the ability to lead and resolve parts and scope requirements.
  • Flexibility and Travel: Willingness to travel up to 10% for both scheduled and last-minute internal and external meetings, ensuring customer needs are met promptly.
  • Eligibility: Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
