A Snapshot of Your Day

You will support the unit data structure of generators, gas- and steam turbines, which we need for technical and commercial clarification as well as for spare part packages and catalogue creation in the day-to-day business.

You will apply aligned modifications into specific unit structures while using existing IT software solutions and processes. Furthermore, you support data quality improvements together with our global experts. In this context of data readiness, you will play a decisive role in shaping the change from reactive to proactive clarification.


How You will Make an Impact

  • As an Engineer for technical Data maintenance, you will mainly work in our SAP System, to
    • Maintain/update the Unit structures based in Field feedback from site to document the made changes
    • Identify missing part in our units and complete them
    • Quality checks based on service needs
  • Create & modify the material master and bring them into specific unit configuration structures (UCS).
  • You have opportunities to drive continuously digital process improvements
  • You will be the point of contact for all Material Master and UCS driven improvement tasks, and support with your detailed technical knowledge.


What You Bring

  • You have graduated from university, preferred Machine engineering, Bachelor of Science or comparable
  • Start your career path in a leading international energy company.
  • Participate in building up a new Data & Clarification Hub in Portugal
  • You speak English on advanced level.
  • You are interested in Data structures as well as analyzing & solving complex data challenges in an environment of large assets to serve the global Energy Service business.
  • Very good communicator along with problem solving and proactive skills.
  • Be a team-player but you also work independently.
  • Be highly motivated to work in an international matrix organization and to collaborate cross-functional.
  • Terms like empowerment and self-driven-agile teams is nothing new for you.
  • You have advanced MS Office365 applications skills, preferred first experiences data cleansing as well as in SAP and Teamcenter


About the Team

The Organization Clarification & Logistics is responsible for technical, commercial, and auxiliary parts clarification, as well as Catalog and Configuration management to ensure the data quality and completeness of spare parts information.

You are working within a motivated and experienced global team that takes responsibility for the Unit data and is always willing to improve the data to serve the business constantly.

Our team is responsible for the coordination and update of UCS (Unit Configuration Structures) globally. We also provide input for catalog creation, improve the data quality in UCS on demand and drive/support digitalization projects, because the missing data leads to high clarification/update effort within our company. We focus on improving the data quality for Steamturbines, Generators and Gasturbines and drive process simplification between the different regions.
