A Snapshot of Your Day

This position is a supervisory role in the Maintenance Department in Richland, MS reporting to the EHS / Facilities-Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Supervisor will provide daily guidance and support to Maintenance department. The position is accountable for ensuring minimal downtime to the operation through the development and implementation of equipment and systems that support reduce the risk of production downtime.

  • Effectively manage a workforce to accomplish daily, monthly, and annual targets
  • Maintain workflow by monitoring process and eliminating downtime
  • Continuous improvement using Lean techniques and digitalization
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve process and service to the organization
  • Maintain great employee relations by providing feedback, coaching, training, and development
  • Develop strong team through training and development
  • Ensure a safe working environment for you and your team

 

What You Bring 

  • 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing management, preferably industrial maintenance candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of Industrial Electricity, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, PLC’s, Tool and Die, along with other common industrial maintenance equipment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Proven ability to lead a team and drive results
  • Understanding of general industry electrical and safety standards
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
