Siemens Energy is seeking a Commissioning and Controls Field Service Engineer working on the following product lines:

Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Centrifugal Compressors & Rotating Equipment!

Preferred strength ideally should include knowledge and experience of various controls systems ideally on one or more of the below packages:

• Siemens SPPA T3000, S7 & PCS7
• Allen-Bradley (FT100, FT125 etc)
• Woodward
• Different instrumentation and controls systems

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on Siemens Energy products
• Carry out Controls Installation & Commissioning activities on newly installed equipment.
• Carry out trouble-shooting and rectifying faults
• Have an understanding of packaged and ancillary equipment.
• Produce technical reports, based on work conducted and recommendations required to resolve customer issues, and/or improve system reliability and availability.
• Take part in route cause analysis and fault diagnostics as required.

What You Bring

• We are looking for a degree level in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or Equivalent Education or have vocational qualifications in electrical and/or controls systems in these cases with at least 3 years of related engineering experience or in a similar role.
• We are seeking highly motivated and expert individuals to commission, fault find, maintain and service equipment we have supplied to our customers.
• You will have worked in an I&D subject area, ideally on multiple controls platforms, including HMI systems and panel based electrical systems.
• Able to interpret piping and installation drawings, general engineering drawings and controls schematics.
• Ability to mobilize at short notice for emergency situations as well being away from home for extended periods including weekends and Bank Holidays
• Extensive travel will be required for this position (~75%) within domestic and international.
• Proficient English written/speaking (required)
• Hold a current Argentine driving license
• Have experience of using Virtual, RDS and tooling associated with the work is helpful.
