A Snapshot of Your Day

The Siemens EHS team is looking for a data analyst who can improve the digital workspace of the team.
You will continue the development of the EHS-App, improve the reporting flows and implement new digital innovations in the department.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • As an IT professional working in an EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) organization, your job will be to ensure that the organization's IT infrastructure is secure, efficient, and effective. Some of the specific job duties you may be responsible for include:
  • Developing and maintaining the EHS organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Providing technical support to users within the organization, including troubleshooting software issues.
  • Managing and maintaining the organization's database systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborating with other departments within the organization to identify and implement new and faster technologies that can help improve EHS processes.
  • Conducting regular backups of the organization's data to ensure business continuity in case of an IT system failure.
  • Staying up to date with the latest IT trends and technologies and identifying opportunities to leverage them for the benefit of the EHS organization.
  • Performing Trends from the Data and compiling the data to tell a story.
  • Must have knowledge of the Microsoft Power Apps (Power Automate, Azure, Power BI
  • Be familiar with Salesforce and be able to make connections to acquire data from the system.
  • Overall, your role as an IT professional in an EHS organization will be to ensure that all IT systems are secure, efficient, and effective and that they support the organization's mission to protect the environment and ensure the health and safety of its employees.

What You Bring
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is generally required.
  • In addition to formal education, IT professionals working in EHS organizations should also have relevant technical certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), as well as experience in IT operations, network administration, cybersecurity, and database management. It is also important for IT professionals to have strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, as well as a solid understanding of EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Appropriate experience may be considered instead of a college degree.
  • Candidates must be willing to relocate to Orlando FL.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
