We are currently seeking a Deputy Site Manager to join the service operations at Hollandse Kust Zuid wind farm where you will be responsible for the delivery of the service and maintenance activities and for the leadership of the technician workforce. You will act as Site Manager when required and provide interpersonal support in all areas of people and process development and will ensure expertise is shared with and received from the wider team within Offshore Operations.

Your responsibilities

  • Set objectives and deliver against agreed results that have a direct impact on the delivery of the overall Service and Maintenance contract at Hollandse Kust Zuid wind farm.
  • Be a safety leader and ensure we live and deliver on our Zero Harm policy and commitments to keep our people safe whilst minimising the environmental impact of our operations.
  • Liaise closely with the Operational organisation, Customer site representatives, Service Technology organization, EHS teams, Material Flow and Logistic teams, Procurement teams, Sub-Contractors, Back office planners, Quality Management team and Operations-Support.
  • Co-Ordinate all persons at site and manage the distribution of tasks in the team and keeps an overview of progression to plan.
  • Ensure compliance at site with EHS standards according to Siemens Energy and local requirements. Active safety leadership within the shift - ensure accurate reporting of incidents and accidents, near misses and unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Ensure appropriate resources are available to achieve site performance targets within budget. Maintain service and retrofit KPI's and ensuring all tasks are being completed within relevant timescales.
  • Maintain and develop good working relationship with customer organisation(s) and raise issues to the Site Manager when appropriate.
  • Line management and performance management of shift staff in line with Siemens Energy
  • Supervise all sickness reporting and carry out all back to work interviews for all on site personnel.
  • Ensure that the vital infrastructure at site is available and processes are optimised.
  • Liaise with the customer to acquire work permissions and approval of Risk Assessment Method Statements.
  • Support the hiring process of technicians and take ownership of technician development and progression.
  • Assist in the production and publication of accurate site reports for both internal and external customers. Assist in the creation of the site delivery plan.
  • Control and technical verification of SAP data and release hours booking on service orders.

What you bring

  • Experience within operational delivery at a site level, ideally in an offshore environment.
  • A track record of supporting delivery and assisting operational leaders with developing and delivering their operational plans and commitments as part of a team that delivers a highly positive customer experience.
  • Proven line management experience and be used to working within a fast-paced environment.
  • This role will require the successful candidate to be permanently present in the Ijmuiden Office.
