Data Catalyst Team Lead – Business Operations

You will grow the analytics offerings, development, and operations (maintenance). Oversee the team executing, prototyping and industrialization opportunities requiring new and innovative solutions. You are responsible for driving new customer experiences and improving operational fitness using analytics. You partner with one or more functional areas, Business Units, and/or geographies to drive the value of data, analytics, and advanced analytics through support and contribution to the D&A strategy whilst amalgamating and prioritizing the data/analytics product portfolio within that area. As a leader, you are part of our transformation journey to become a data driven company in future.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You lead a high performing team that supports the business in identifying opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement of business operations through data 
  • Accountable for DA&AI demand, portfolio management, and on-time delivery to optimize value extraction for SE and Collaborate and lead external partners and resources.
  • Lead and push the support areas to provide required materials and services (e.g., infrastructure, guidelines)
  • Enforce enterprise data standards, policies, and processes for data lifecycle management, access & usage and ensuring privacy-by-design & data ethics to reinforce trust in the SE brand
  • Think holistically about data monetization value across the platform and ecosystem, ensuring alignment across other platforms, business models, and revenue streams
  • Inspire ideas for the customers and Product Owners and work collaboratively to shape the optimum way for them to realize their objectives
  • Actively follow and evaluate new technologies/methods in the field of data analytics to leverage new solutions and understand latest trends
  • Document and present methodologies, procedures, and project results to senior stakeholders across different functions
  • Be part of an inspiring team of real data science thought leaders and experts within the ED&AA global team and will be a valuable contributor

What You Bring

  • Demonstrates a combination of a business, data strategy, and data analytics leadership, effective people management skills with highly developed business acumen
  • Demonstrated success in driving value through D&A to the business. Experience in implementing data/analytics solutions and architectures in product/platform framework
  • Understanding and experience in different project management methods (e.g. GPM, agile) with cross-sector and lifecycle product development know-how
  • Experience with lean management concepts (e.g. value-stream mapping)
  • Ability to think and act strategically but also to operate and implement change.
  • Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills along. You navigate easily in a global & multicultural environment.
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership and coaching skills to collaborate across multicultural, global teams and develop engineering talent
  • Open-minded and willing to learn and constantly improve own skills
  • Result-driven as well as excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Passionate about data and analytics, and driving data value across all parts of an organization and ecosystems
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English, knowledge of German or any other language is a plus.
