Join our global procurement team and be an integral part of the Energy Transformation, supporting our decarbonisation efforts through a variety of products and solutions. You will be actively involved in supporting the development of the Transformation of Industries business, and the Electrification, Automation and Digitalisation (EAD) part of the business in particular. This role offers hybrid working pattern and is open to applicants able to commute to our offices in Ružomberok or Bratislava for two or three days a week.
Your day will be filled with communication and cooperation with other departments, i.e. project teams, technical functions, and global commodity managers, to ensure the overall success of the projects you’ll be working on.
How You’ll Make an Impact
In this role, you will join our Europe and Africa regional team in one of our offices in Slovakia.
Your responsibilities:
- Execute and follow-up of Request for Quotations (RfQs) with suppliers, and handle supplier negotiation.
- Ensure correctness of supplier/material master data required for ordering.
- Process purchase orders based on requirements from projects and valid frame agreements.
- Follow-up of purchase orders including order acknowledgements and monitor adherence to delivery dates.
- Report procurement status to related project stakeholders, including regular update of project specific procurement plans.
- Contribute to the achievement of annual targets and KPIs through collaboration and support of the wider procurement team
- Focus on adherence to requirements and guidelines, ensure correct following of processes, mitigating contractual risks and invoice discrepancies
- Support supplier evaluation, negotiation and ongoing relationship.
What You Bring
Besides a passion for decarbonisation and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:
- Experience in P2P process for industrial components.
- Global supplier management experience.
- Procurement experience within oil and gas, or in a technical or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of SAP and basic contract law.
- Ability to take ownership, think independently, and perform tasks with minimal supervision
- Communicative knowledge of English and German, and Slovak or Czech
