A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)


As an NDT Technician at Siemens Energy on the 2nd shift, your day will involve ensuring the precision and safety of our operations through the expert handling and calibration of NDT equipment. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team to perform and supervise a range of inspections, playing a key role in maintaining our high standards. Every task you undertake is integral to the success and reliability of our energy solutions.


How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

  • Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Execute tasks assigned by management efficiently, with a focus on quality outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to team members, enhancing their skills and understanding of NDT processes.
  • Develop and implement inspection techniques that adhere to quality specifications and standards.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports that document findings and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct NDT inspections with precision, adhering to established standards and accuracy.
  • Perform visual inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment integrity.

What You Bring (requirements)

  • At least 5 years of experience as a certified NDT Level II - ASNT in methods MT, PT, and VT; UT experience is advantageous.
  • Proven capability to perform NDT tasks and analyze results effectively.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining safety and high-quality standards.
  • Skilled in interpreting specifications and executing detailed instructions.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
