- Design and implement open- and closed-loop control systems for HVDC Converter Systems
- Implementation of control software in MATLAB/SIMULINK as well as verification using software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test environments
- Contribute to the clarification of technical requirements within project teams as well as with customers
- Work with a close-knit team on a successful project development
- University degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering or similar, preferably at least two years of professional experience
- Proficiency in MATLAB/SIMULINK, including modeling and verification
- Experience with developing controls systems, ideally in a power systems context
- Eagerness to work in a team, to learn, and to contribute to the energy transition
- Knowledge of MMC converter technology as well as open- and closed-loop controls, experience in the configuration of automation systems is an advantage
- Strong English language skills, German language skills are an advantage
