As the Finance Program Manager - Service Execution in Accounting Services (AS), your role requires expertise in project/program management, software/tool selection, implementation, and process improvement techniques. It is also important to have a strong understanding of accounting/finance operations, process (re-)design, and a technical and commercial approach.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Process Ownership & Leadership

• You will work on high-profile projects directly for the Head of Accounting Services (AS) globally.
• You take ownership of projects, be responsible for initiating, managing, and completing complex projects to ensure that the AS organization can consistently operate at the highest possible level. It is within your responsibility to identify, enable, operate and maintain tools and processes to allow the ASCs to do so.

Collaboration & Teamwork

• You build positive relationships by engaging respectfully, flexibly, and responsibly with colleagues, customers, partners, and Siemens Energy local and global communities.
• Actively listen and are continuously dedicated to the collaborator requests, managing complex and uncertain operational issues, while decisively moving forward in taking ownership of decisions.

Proactive Process Improvement

• Support the Head of Accounting Services in continuously improve the organizations efficiency and effectiveness.
• You understand project dynamics, know how to manage stakeholders and are aware that time sensitivity matters.
• Actively contribute to the improvement process and demonstrate curiosity and creativity in promoting beneficial and valuable ideas or solutions.
• Work closely together with the Function Leads globally to develop operational skills and ensure AS' tools and processes are optimized for day-to-day operational accounting.

Process improvement

• You are actively involved in proposing, coordinating, and leading continuous improvement initiatives as well as finance transformation projects.
• Contributing and engaging in standardizing and automating our workflows, accounting processes and our cross-functional processes throughout Accounting and related teams.
• You support the implementation and continuous update of documentation for existing and new processes.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• Proven track record of successfully implemented process improvement projects
• Extensive process and project management tool and technique knowledge
• Very good understanding of (operational) accounting processes
• Project management qualification is a plus
• Very good MS-Office skills
• You are open and communicative in nature as well as fluent English skills complete your profile
