We are currently looking for a Project Procurement Manager to join our Europe and Africa regional team in Vienna, Graz or Linz, Austria. In this role, you will play an active part in supporting the development of the Transformation of Industries (TI) business and Electrification, Automation, and Digitalization (EAD) with equivalent experience considered as well.
Mastering project-related procurement challenges with a team while remaining committed to procurement rules and regulations. The world of project procurement managers today is characterized by interdisciplinary collaboration with various other departments, project teams, technical functions, and global commodity managers.
Join our distributed team and play a vital role in the Energy Transformation, supporting decarbonization through EAD across a range of products and solutions!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- This role involves working with Commodity Managers as the main contact for procurement during project execution.
- Build, monitor, and report the project procurement plan, crafting a centralized supply chain end-to-end reporting view for the project.
- Support the project team with procurement risk and opportunities topics, delegate ad-hoc project demands, and consolidate lessons learned.
- Ensure all project procurement activities enforce to standardized processes and align procurement targets with project execution achievements.
- Act as the voice of projects towards the Procurement organization, focusing on customer needs and improving the supply chain.
What You Bring
Besides a passion for decarbonizing the industry and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration or engineering, with validated experience of three years in Procurement and/or Project Management is required.
- A motivating great teammate who is resilient, responsible, and structured, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to effectively harmonize with collaborators at all levels within the organization and consistently deliver high-quality results within set deadlines.
- Proficiency in both German and English, along with strong project management skills and a basic understanding of critical metrics and reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment, with experience in large organizations and proficiency in planning and prioritizing tasks.

The SE TI EAD MF&OP P organization manages third-party spend and develops procurement strategies for direct material fields. These strategies help Siemens Energy stay competitive and achieve its vision of becoming the most valued energy technology company.
Our professional procurement team uses modern tools and processes to develop a global sourcing strategy for assigned commodities that ensures efficient supply cost, quality, timely delivery, ESG (Environment, Social & Governance) compliance, and VUCA-resilient supply chain for Execution Area / Service Unit to strengthen competitive advantage for Siemens Energy.

The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of € 59.015,46 gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week). “
