As a Global Sales Manager for Wind OEM Customers in Grid Technologies, you will have the opportunity to lead and drive the business and strategy for your customers. 
 

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • You will oversee operational field sales and direct factory sales for OEM key accounts, working closely with factories on pricing and direct sales
  • You will align with Siemens Energy regions on the customer approach and opportunities, as well as with Vertical Sales and Technical Sales Experts. You will check customer/end-customer requirements for portfolio information and derive possible scope of supply and services
  • You will develop and implement a strategy for OEM sales to grow, diversify and expand the business, including the development of Go-to-Market concepts 
  • You will identify OEMs for profitable growth, define OEM pipeline and budget for growth, and understand OEMs' needs and buying factors. You will negotiate frame agreements and sales contracts with customers, approach and acquire new wind OEM customers
  • You will manage sales channels and business models, conduct/participate in external fairs, and support by conducting roadshows, factory visits, technical workshops, and marketing support
  • You will identify new market trends and collaborate closely with hubs and factories regarding price determination and strategy implementation
What You Bring
  • University Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Business Engineering
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English, German is a plus
  • Deep understanding of the global Wind OEM business as well as excellent communication, presentation, and management skills 
  • Conceptual problem solver and strategic approach combined with a hands-on mentality 
  • Several years of direct experience in the Wind OEM industry as well as experience in sales/business development and win/loss analysis
  • Experience with international customers and willing to travel > 50% globally
