    A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Wind Turbine Technician, you’ll be responsible for the routine service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Siemens Gamesa and/or Senvion wind turbines. Conduct blade inspections as a primary responsibility, thoroughly examining all blade quadrants and documenting any findings. While based at a home wind farm, you’ll also support a mobile team that covers up to three additional sites as needed.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on turbines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Diagnosing faults and performing repairs in a safe and timely manner
    • Climbing turbines (up to 300 feet) and working in confined spaces at elevation. Responding effectively to stressful or hazardous situations, ensuring the safety of yourself and your team
    • Recording and reporting service activity accurately using company tools and protocols. Supporting the development and feedback process for new and revised field procedures
    • Maintaining compliance with safety standards, site rules, and environmental protocols
    • Being physically prepared for job demands including ladder climbing (minimum 267 steps), lifting, bending, working overhead, and operating in adverse weather conditions
    • Traveling as required, typically to other sites in close proximity, supporting other operational needs. You may also tackle additional site lead level responsibilities depending on project needs and your experience.

    What You Bring

    • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or experience in electrical or mechanical systems is preferred. Various combinations of training and experience will be considered.
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a technical, mechanical, or electrical field, ideally related to wind turbines.
    • In order to work safely in a team setting candidates must meet physical demands, including weight restrictions under 265 lbs and passing a job-specific medical exam.
    • Strong skills in planning, problem-solving, and independent decision-making with a focus on quality and safety.
    • Hands on experience with electrical systems, including PLCs and converters; customer-facing experience is an asset.
    • Daily mobilization to local sites for internal blade inspections. Long term travel is not expected, but short term travel may be requested occasionally to support other projects.. Driver’s license with a clean record are required and must be maintained throughout employment.
Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States
