Join us as a Technical Support Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the support we provide to our major Oil & Gas customers. Imagine being the key point of contact, ensuring customer satisfaction while leading onsite teams through complex projects. You will collaborate with various business areas to drive technical project management and business improvement initiatives, all while maintaining a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental (HSE) execution. Your expertise will be crucial in managing data quality and providing comprehensive technical knowledge to ensure successful project outcomes and service outages.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead onsite teams, ensuring compliance with HSE policies and driving down accidents while promoting near-miss reporting.
- Serve as the dedicated onsite liaison for customers, addressing queries and coordinating resolutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities, including modernisation and upgrades, in collaboration with project management and sales teams.
- Produce and validate site reports, work packs, and schedules, ensuring data accuracy to drive productivity and business fluency.
- Manage onsite project planning and execution, highlighting risks and ensuring all project history supports the claims management process.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, striving for flawless project delivery and exceptional customer service.
What You Bring
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering service products within an operating environment, specifically with SGT gas turbine fleets and associated equipment.
- Strong commercial and project management experience, with the ability to manage your time effectively to meet project requirements.
- Proven experience in leading teams and driving business improvement activities across projects.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge to assist with troubleshooting, maintenance activities, and the interpretation of technical documents.
- A commitment to HSE execution, with experience conducting EHS audits and ensuring compliance during all activities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to work effectively with diverse teams and collaborators.

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonisation. With a focus on zero or low-emission power generation, we bring all gas turbines under one roof, along with steam turbines and generators. We capitalise on decarbonisation opportunities through our service offerings, modernisation, and the digitalisation of our fleet.
