A Snapshot of Your Day

Siemens Energy is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Tax Analyst to join our Income Tax team. We are looking for a highly organized, adaptable team player who can manage multiple projects while delivering accurate, timely results in a fast‑paced environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

·       Prepare federal/state workpapers, including extensions and quarterly estimated payments, and review federal/state corporate income tax returns.

·       Calculate book-to-tax adjustments and apply tax attributes.

·       Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions, including Provision-to-Return analysis.

·       Support international tax calculations, including Foreign Tax Credit (FTC), Foreign-Derived Intangible Income (FDII), and Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income (GILTI).

·       Prepare international tax workpapers for various international tax forms (i.e. Form 5472, 8858, etc.).

·       Gather and analyze financial data from various systems for compliance and provision purposes.

·       Manage and resolve tax notices by liaising with state tax authorities.

What You Bring

·       Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required. Master’s in taxation or accounting is a plus.

·       1+ years of experience preparing and reviewing federal and state corporate income tax returns.

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Adobe), and Tableau.

·       CPA certification preferred

·       Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
