A Snapshot of Your Day

In the Markets and Competitors department within the Corporate Strategy & Sustainability function, no two days will be alike. Your day may often start on calls with colleagues in Europe. As the finance expert within the function, you may lend your expertise to projects covering portfolio analysis, capital allocation, and competitive benchmarking. After lunch, you check the latest news on your Bloomberg terminal and dive into a competitor’s 10-K filing as you prepare a report for the Executive Board.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will bring financial acumen and rigor to strategic decisions that shape the energy transition
  • You will develop and deliver unique insights that change the development path of the company
  • You will ensure Siemens Energy’s strategy is informed by the latest data-driven analysis techniques
  • You will train, mentor, and lead relevant colleagues in strategic financial analysis
  • The consistent quality of your output and communications will build trust across the organization, enhancing your impact

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required.  MBA or CFA preferred.  
  • CFA-level financial analysis ability, including fluency with IFRS / GAAP and financial modeling
  • Working experience with at least one of: Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ, Eikon, FactSet
  • Proven track record of driving impact through executive-level communications
  • 5+ years in investment banking, investment management, or management consulting.
  • Energy industry experience is nice to have but not required.
