Snapshot of your day.

  • As Installation & Commissioning planner, you are responsible for crafting Installation & commissioning schedules for new projects in on- and offshore applications (during the sales phase from PM020 to PM080) in line with the process descriptions agreed with SDO. For this role, close corporation with SDO and other (3rd party) service organizations is required.
  • The scope being handled for this I&C phase offer, concerns the full O&G product range. Next to centrifugal compressors, also reciprocating compressors, gas and steam-turbine drives, Electrical motor drives including the power systems, SCADA systems, 3rd party supplies etc. are included.Guided by the I&C offer Lead, the I&C planner, is at an early stage responsible for the creation of project specific I&C schedules which form an integral part of the I&C offer.

How You’ll Make an Impact.

  • Reading client specifications
  • Risk assessment for the I&C portion
  • Define project specific I&C schedule
  • Define workforce requirement based on I&C schedule
  • Support the buildup of Lessons Learned Database
  • In corporation with SDO product line managers, setup for the complete O&G portfolio, standard single train I&C schedule models.

What you Bring!

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • 7-12 years professional work experience in Project Management domain.
  • Oil & Gas project execution experience including knowledge of rotating equipment (centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, gas and steam-turbine drives)
  • Equipment experience over the complete range of GP O&G product portfolio
  • On-shore, off-shore Installation and commissioning know-how is a plus.
  • Microsoft Projects and Primavera scheduling software
  • Knowledge of workforce histograms and trends is helpful
  • Good knowledge of advanced excel
  • Building information networks
  • Installation & Commissioning strategy development.
  • Multi-culture experience.
  • Should have willingness to travel as required on short notice.
  • Proactive, Self-Motivated and Flexible.
  • Quick to learn and implement.
  • Ability to document business requirements.
