A Snapshot of Your Day 

In your daily work in the field of bearings and shaft seals for turbo generators and phase shifters, you create and analyze computer models of the vibration behavior of rotor strings. You oversee the components throughout their lifecycle and regularly coordinate with the global team. In doing so, you work closely with project managers, component owners, and various engineering disciplines, while independently clarifying priorities.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Contribute to development projects, modifications, and root-cause analyses.
  • Plan and evaluate validation measurements for prototypes.
  • Support the assessment of operational behavior of prototypes.
  • Provide plant and manufacturing support.
  • Clarify boundary conditions with interface partners.
  • Collaborate within an international team.
What You Bring
  • Completed master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in the design of bearings and shaft seals.
  • Knowledge in materials science and process engineering.
  • Experience with CAD systems (ideally NX).
  • Independent, flexible working style and teamwork skills.
  • Good English and German language skills.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and 
decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, 
steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, 
modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
