A Snapshot of Your Day 

You will be part of the Gas Service organization with extended support of the Product Competence Centers (PCC’s) of Siemens Energy for Compression and Gas Turbines. You will be part of the regional Latin America team, supporting to the repair business and interacting with the Sales team, and Project Management organization. This position, in coordination with Client Managers will also perform proactive client site visits to determine scope needed and support opportunities for parts sales.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Primary Point of contact for the assigned country for all repair opportunities.
• Liaising and coordinating with the relevant PCCs to establish timely submission of quotations and proposals. Ensure maximum levels of Quote Response Time (QRT) and call out if required.
• Initiate Engineering jobs for review and updates as needed by client requirements.
• Review and book customer purchase orders and coordinate with Order Management and Project management teams the requirement for a specific order.
• Review and validated lead times by use of current manufacturing department data, direct negotiations with planners, buyers and service shop personnel. Using available resources provide delivery alternatives when vital for purchased and manufactured items.
• Proactively follow up on opportunity status prior to quote validity expiry; provide extension / quote revalidation if required. Work with client managers to plan visits to strategic growth business.
• Review forecasted outages and future opportunities with Client manager and support the planning activities with the Project management team and service shop representatives. 
• Domestic / International travel required.

What you Bring

• At least 8 years of experience in field of Rotating Equipment (Centrifugal Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors Steam Turbine, preferably in Oil & Gas sector)
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills in English.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point), Experience with ERP software (Oracle, SAP etc.) is highly desirable.
• Bachelors / Diploma or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
• Technical Knowledge Generation and Oil & Gas Market preferably
• Accuracy & attention to detail when working towards tight deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively and individually with the same passion and intensity.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Self-motivation to find efficient and effective ways to accomplish end goals. Knowledge and understanding of Siemens Energy’s products and services.
