Are you a dynamic and dedicated Quality manager capable of providing Quality Management Excellence within the Gas Services Europe and Africa (GS EU&AF) region?
As the UK&IE Regional Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products and services meet Customer requirements by monitoring and maintaining defined processes and systems. Your position will be based in the UK (Newcastle) providing support to GS EU&AF with focus on the UK Governance and support of Supply Chain for Supplier Quality in GS EU&AF, including maintenance & continuous improvement of the QMS to support Certification Compliance.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support in the development and documentation of Quality Management System processes ensuring compliance to ISO 9001. Monitor conformance to QMS requirements and escalate areas of non-conformance to Senior Management when necessary.
- Represent the company on Quality matters at meetings with Customers and Suppliers. Report non conformances and lead in investigations into quality problems and customer complaints utilizing RCA methods.
- Manage the Internal Audit Schedule and the Certification of Auditors and coordinate 2nd and 3rd party external audits. Prepare reports, issue corrective action and monitor responses.
- Provide support to SCM (Supply Chain Management) with the Vendor Approval process including the development and onboarding of new suppliers. Conduct Supplier Quality Audits, prepare reports, issue corrective action and request and monitor responses.
- Monitor and approve jointly with Procurement department Supplier ITPs, conduct surveillance visits and witness inspections in the UK and overseas when required. Manage the QCS (Quality Control System) process.
- Act as Quality Partner to internal departments during departmental Quality Meetings.
- Prepare and present annual QMS Management review.
What You Bring
- Minimum BTEC HNC or equivalent in an Engineering subject.
- Worked in a Quality Environment for a minimum of 2 years or have good understanding of company systems and their application.
- Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management System and internal auditing, supplier auditing. Knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001, desirable but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and proficient in the use of IT and digitalization solutions.
- Knowledge of RCA and Investigation techniques.
- Diligent with a focus on continuous improvement and willingness to travel.

The team’s mission is to ensure products and services consistently meet customer, regulatory, and certification requirements. Working closely with Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and operational functions, the team acts as a trusted quality partner across the business. Collaboration, analytical thinking, and continuous improvement are central to how the team operates. You will regularly engage with senior leadership, suppliers, customers, and auditors. Together, the team safeguards quality while enabling reliable and sustainable energy services.
