This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and enhance our Environmental, Quality, and Safety (EQS) initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a culture of safety and sustainability within our organization.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Leadership: Lead the EQS team, providing guidance and direction to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain EQS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with environmental, quality, and safety factors across all operational areas.
Training and Development: Coordinate training programs to enhance employee awareness and understanding of EQS principles, fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance EQS performance and efficiency, utilizing data-driven insights and best practices.
Communication: Serve as a focal point for EQS communication, facilitating collaboration and knowledge-sharing among internal stakeholders.
Audits and Inspections: Oversee EQS audits and inspections, ensuring timely resolution of findings and implementation of corrective actions.
What you Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in EQS management, in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant environmental, quality, and safety regulations and standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience in developing and implementing EQS policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Proficiency in data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
