Own quality. Drive excellence. As a Quality Engineer, you’ll hunt down defects, solve root causes, and quickly turn problems into better processes. You’ll lead audits, qualify new parts, sharpen standards, and make sure every product hits the mark, every time. If you thrive on impact and love making things better, this role delivers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Build the playbook for quality. Create, update, and own SOPs and quality instructions that keep production running smooth and smart
  • Launch new parts with confidence. Review line setups, qualify new components, and give the green light for production
  • Play quality detective. Dive into root cause analysis, lead corrective and preventive actions, and solve real problems fast
  • Lead and collaborate daily. Coordinate teams, partner closely with Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Inspectors, and keep everyone aligned
  • Put processes to the test. Lead product and process qualifications, analyze data, and drive improvements that stick
  • Audit, improve, repeat. Run process audits, track action items, and champion quality standards in your assigned area

What You Bring

Required:

  • Bachelors in Engineering or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines, including Operations, Maintenance, Order Planning, EHS, and contracted services
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, Minitab, Tableau, or similar software
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Using precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, tape measures, snap gauges, or similar
  • Familiarity with the metric system of measurement
  • Preferred manufacturing operations and producing parts with complex engineering specifications
  • Preferred quality management standards, such as ISO 9001, and key quality tools
  • Preferred SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfer opportunities

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
