How you will make an impact：
As proposal engineer, you will be responsible for administrating, consulting and/or negotiating proposals with external customers for Gas Turbine or Steam Turbine auxiliary systems. Negotiates contracts that are consistent with business objectives and engages in contract amendments and renegotiation to accommodate scope changes.
• Sales support for customer meetings & workshops with design institutes during pre-acquisition phase
• Proposal preparation for auxiliary systems including cost calculation & risk assessment
• Technical clarification and negotiation during bid submission & contract negotiation phase
• Present results of proposal preparation to management, sales and customers
• Avoid Non Conformance Costs (NCC) , handover successful offers to project implementation teams
• Technical support on local sub-supplier qualification & clarification, conduct necessary design changes, to meet cost reduction target and local codes & regulations requirements.
• Support project execution incl. Participating inspection / factory acceptance test as supplier site and providing erection & commissioning instructions at project site, if required
• Coordinate gas turbine auxiliary system design activities and interfaces with internal & external engineering disciplines, procurement department.
• Identify, mitigate and manage all project risks
• Manage compliance to standards, rules and regulations
What you bring
• Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or Thermal Engineering
• At least 5 years experience in a engineering discipline for GT / ST power plant systems (engineering, project management).
• Good knowledge in domestic Codes & Regulations on power generation
• Good knowledge and experience in design of gas turbine or steam turbine auxiliary systems, e.g. lube oil system, air intake system, etc.
• Rich experience in power plant auxiliary system development & supplier qualification
• Project site experience in installation and commissioning would be a plus
• Fluent English and Chinese skill in business environment
• Proven intercultural experience, working experience in European company would be a plus
