A. A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for project execution with full profit & loss responsibility. You will be leading a team having different competencies & backgrounds, negotiating with business partners, and representing the company towards external stakeholders.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Leading complex power transmission projects, consisting of diverse EPC scope of works including Engineering, Procurement & Construction.
- Coach the team & enable performance by skilled execution of high voltage transmission substations.
- Full profit and loss responsibility including cost management, concurrent calculation, and optimization of project profit.
- Ensuring that all internal and external contractual obligations, supplied materials and services are provided in time and quality.
- Focusing on Process, Quality and EHS requirements are implemented and maintained.
- Opportunity and Risk management (identification, evaluation, management and controlling of measures) with periodic updates.
- Assign the allocated personnel in such a way, that the targets are achieved in the best way possible.
- Evaluate and assess the results, skills and potential of project co-workers, thus providing input for performance management process
- Technical education & Engineering background required.
- Mastering & understanding of practical project execution.
- Rich experience of around 10 years in active project management role.
- Deep Knowledge of high voltage substation business and systems.
- Qualification to execute high voltage substation projects, in execution environment of main transmission utilities in UAE (eg. TRANSCO & DEWA).
- Handling of complex projects with internal & external stakeholders.
As an entrepreneur, you will be the sole responsible for executing the project, leading a diverse team, covering different competencies, and reporting to management as per business guidelines.
The project office location is in our Middle East Hub in UAE, where a full-fledged Turnkey project organisation is established.
Flexibility and availability as well as collaboration and team building skills are required.
