The Project Manager (PM) is who proactively manage a team of a diverse technical and industry areas to implement the project. This includes:
  • Development and oversight of scheduling, budgets, risk management, change management, and resource management activities.
  • Encourage to cultivate strong working client relationships as well as internal team building.
  • Ability to analyze information and provide reports and feedback to project team members and management.
  • Strong Ability to communicate / work with international teams across different countries and cultures.
  • Ability to identify risks and issues early that affect margin and schedule. Resolves issues and escalates as required.
  • Ensure compliance to standards, rules, and regulations. 
  • Set necessary measures to ensure zero harm policy in environment, health, and safety, set up framework to regularly check compliance of in projects and with subcontractors.
How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Manage projects (abilities up to C-category) throughout the project life cycle, which includes agreeing project targets with project and execution and support areas.
  • Design, develops and manages customer projects, according to defined Project Management (PM) standards and customer requirements, and with responsibility for economic results.
  • Consults with customers on technical solutions, together with Sales Manager or Key Account Manager.
  • Clarifies customers´ targets and requirements, and/or specification in request for proposal (RFP).
  • Prepares participation in tender and leads negotiation with customers.
  • Coordinates overall planning of the project and decides on allocation of resources.
  • Clarifies specification and continuously liaise with accountable Project Manager Internal.
  • Monitors milestone and adherence to budgets, and initiates actions to minimize non-conformance cost.
  • Maintains constant communication to customers, outside contractors, or other stakeholders.
  • May coordinate agreed activities measures onsite, together with Site Engineers, Craft Labor, Staff and Management.
  • Adheres to PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines including Quality Management and EHS.
What You Bring  
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or Equivalent
  • 3- 5 years’ experience in supporting the management of projects
  • Residence in Concepcion or availability to travel to the indicated area
  • Experience as Project Manager in category Small and C or equivalent position demonstrating management of a project or team.
  • Advanced level of English is a must.
  • Candidate must have experience of leading/managing projects belongs to Power Generation, Industrial, Oil & Gas or Energy business sectors.
  • Knowledge in related disciplines such as Planning, Risk Management, Contract Management and Finance and Administration.
  • This position will require domestic and/or international travel up to 30% of their time.
  • Experience working with Excel 
  • Prior experience with Turbomachinery (Industrial Steam and/or Gas Turbines and Generators) Services business or equivalent
  • Industry recognized Project Management certifications such as PMI PMP, IPMA
  • Knowledge of PE@SE
  • Able to present information in a clear manner to the project team and management.
  • Strong influencing skills required to drive organizational and behavioral.
